FREEING SPACE
The skyscraper has a specifically designed escape tunnel. It consists of two overlapping segments; in the case of a fire, the segments slide out from the corridor to the open space of the building and facilitate quick evacuation of people from the top floors of the office building. When the tunnel is activated, the emergency lights inside come on, while the door in the façade through which the tunnel slides out, open automatically immediately after the fire alarm comes on.
Escape tunnel:
- EI 60 rated tunnel enclosure
The escape tunnel at the Warsaw Spire is an undisputed alternative to existing emergency egress systems to date. It is an innovative, patented solution.
